Winter Sunday School Classes 2012

Class Title: 1 JOHN: LIFE IN CHRIST
Teacher(s): Jonathan Thornton & Greg Lowe
Location: Fellowship Hall
Description: John, as an eyewitness to Jesus earthly ministry, testifies and declares to us what Jesus did and because of His work, how we are to live our life in Christ so that our joy may be complete. Using Martin Lloyd-Jones compilation of sermons and John Stott’s Commentary, we will work verse-by-verse through this wonderful epistle.

Class Title: GOD’S GREAT COVENANT
Teacher: Claire Larsen
*Location: Library
Description: Claire will be leading women in a study of Joshua through Job, continuing the story of God’s Great Covenant and how the children of Israel are entering the Promised Land and seeing God’s fulfillment of His promises to them.

(As you study Joshua and Judges, you can see how the people do what is right in their own eyes, but God continues to faithfully provide and care for his people and deliver them from their enemies when they return to Him. You are welcome to join this class even if you were not in the Fall quarter. We will be reviewing this Sunday to bring us all to the same place in the story and will continue on in the coming weeks.)

Class Title: CHRISTIANITY EXPLORED
Teacher(s): Michael Groves, Brett Hartman & Charles Mitchel
*Location: Classroom #4
Description: This will be an instructional class on how to effectively share the gospel message from the Book of Mark. If you would like to attend this class please contact Michael Groves or myself before next week.
